Mark Ackermann is a leader in the Not-For-Profit sector. A senior executive with extensive leadership, operational, fundraising, and management experience in complex, mission-driven institutions, Mark has a proven ability to lead multiple constituencies to advance the organization’s mission and to form partnerships with board members, physicians, government officials, media, corporations, foundations, and major philanthropists.  He excels at facilitating strategic decision making through consensus building, creative planning, as well as developing strong voluntary boards and paid staff to implement them.  

Having spent over three decades working with renowned New York healthcare, educational, faith-based, and philanthropic organizations, Mark is now the Founder and Principal of Mark Ackermann Associates. The firm works with select not-for-profit organizations to re-imagine their focus, priorities, marketing, and fundraising efforts.
